Mohammad Reza Ebrahimi (1971) learned to play the Tar under the guidance of Majid Derakhshani, Arshad Tahmassebi, Mohammadreza Lotfi and Hossein Alizadeh. This talented musician has performed several concerts with Tahmassebi and is one of the permanent members of Alizadeh's Ham Avayan Ensemble. He learned the art of Oud by himself and is teaching at the Tehran Conservatory of music
